Before Applying

What kind of work do Speedpack Express drivers handle?

Drivers handle time-sensitive courier work, local pickups and deliveries, airport cargo assignments, and other expedited transportation jobs. The exact type of work offered depends on customer demand, your location, your availability, and your vehicle.

Is this a regular hourly job with guaranteed hours?

No. Driver opportunities are on-demand contractor work. Applying, completing onboarding, or being approved does not guarantee a minimum number of jobs, hours, or earnings.

Do I need previous courier or airport cargo experience?

Previous courier, delivery, logistics, medical courier, or airport cargo experience is helpful, but the application allows you to explain your current experience level. Speedpack Express reviews each applicant based on the full driver profile.

Do I need to live in Florida?

Speedpack Express is currently focused on Florida-based drivers who can service South Florida jobs. Your normal starting area is used to help dispatch determine whether assignments make sense for your location.

Is a TWIC card required?

Yes. Drivers must have a TWIC card, have already applied for one, or be willing to apply and pay for one before receiving Speedpack Express jobs.

Can I apply while I am waiting for my TWIC card?

Yes. You may complete the application while your TWIC application is pending. You will still need to satisfy all required onboarding conditions before receiving jobs.

Category 02

Vehicles & Driver Requirements

Do I need to provide my own vehicle?

Yes. Drivers use a vehicle they have reliable access to. The vehicle must have current registration and valid insurance before the driver can receive work.

What types of vehicles can I apply with?

Cars, SUVs, minivans, cargo vans, sprinter vans, pickup trucks, box trucks, and other suitable vehicles may be considered. You may list up to three vehicles in the full application.

Do I need a van or box truck?

No. Many everyday courier jobs can be completed with a fuel-efficient car, SUV, or minivan. Larger vehicles may qualify for specialized loads, but those jobs are not always available and larger vehicles may cost more to operate.

What vehicle is usually best for everyday courier work?

A dependable, fuel-efficient vehicle is usually the most practical option for everyday courier work. Fuel economy matters because drivers are responsible for operating their own vehicle.

Do I need a valid driver's license, insurance, and registration?

Yes. A valid driver's license, valid vehicle insurance, and current vehicle registration are basic requirements shown in the pre-qualification form.

Do I need a smartphone?

Yes. Drivers must be comfortable receiving job instructions through a phone app, text message, telephone call, or dispatcher communication. A reliable phone and mobile data connection are important for time-sensitive work.

Category 03

Availability & Service Area

Does Speedpack Express operate 24 hours a day?

Yes. Speedpack Express is a 24/7 operation. Drivers are asked to provide the specific days and hours they are committed to being available.

Do drivers have a fixed schedule?

Drivers choose and report their committed availability. You may also be willing to accept work outside those hours, but the availability submitted in your application should be accurate and dependable.

Can I apply for part-time or weekend availability?

Yes. The application allows you to enter different hours for each day, including evenings, overnight availability, weekends, or flexible/on-call availability.

Do I start every shift from the Speedpack office?

No. Drivers normally begin from home or another location of their choosing. The application asks for your normal starting area so dispatch can match you with practical assignments.

What areas will I be expected to service?

The current driver application is focused on applicants who can service South Florida. Individual jobs may involve Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, surrounding areas, airports, or longer-distance travel depending on the assignment.

Category 04

Jobs & Dispatch

How will I receive job instructions?

Approved drivers may receive instructions through the Speedpack driver system, a phone app, text message, telephone call, or direct communication from dispatch.

Will I receive the same route every day?

Not necessarily. Speedpack handles on-demand and time-critical work, so pickup locations, delivery locations, cargo, distances, and deadlines can change from one job to another.

Will every job involve airport cargo?

No. Some jobs involve airports or cargo facilities, while others are local business pickups, deliveries, recoveries, tenders, or longer-distance courier assignments.

What should I do if I have a problem during a job?

Contact dispatch immediately. Do not guess about cargo, deadlines, addresses, signatures, delays, or delivery instructions when you can confirm the correct procedure with dispatch.

Does being approved guarantee that I will receive jobs?

No. Job availability depends on customer demand, your location, your stated availability, your vehicle, and whether you are a suitable match for a particular assignment.

Category 05

Payment & Contractor Paperwork

Is this independent contractor work?

The driver application is structured around contractor paperwork and requires applicants to acknowledge that submitting a profile is not a guarantee of work. Exact onboarding and contractor terms are provided to selected applicants.

What are W-9 and 1099 forms?

A W-9 is commonly used to collect contractor tax information, and qualifying contractor payments may be reported on a 1099 form. You do not need to be an expert before applying, but you may need to complete required paperwork during onboarding.

Do I need an EIN?

Not always. Some contractors use an SSN for required tax paperwork while others use an EIN. Do not enter an SSN or EIN into the public driver application.

Do I need a bank account?

You must have a reliable way to receive payment. The current application asks whether you have access to Zelle, a bank account, or both. Final payment instructions are provided during onboarding.

Where can I find exact rates and the payment schedule?

Rates, payment timing, and any job-specific payment details should be confirmed directly with Speedpack Express during the review or onboarding process. Do not rely on unofficial information from another applicant or driver.

Should I submit banking or tax identification information on this website?

No. This public form does not request bank account numbers, Social Security cards, tax identification numbers, W-9 documents, or payment documents. Selected applicants receive separate instructions for any sensitive information.

Category 06

Application & Onboarding

Why is there a pre-qualification form before the full application?

The pre-qualification form checks basic requirements first so applicants do not spend time completing a longer application when an essential requirement is missing.

What information is included in the full application?

The full application asks for contact information, vehicle details, weekly availability, normal starting area, language and communication information, courier experience, and basic contractor/payment readiness.

Why does the public form not accept document uploads?

For privacy and security, the public form does not collect Social Security cards, license photographs, W-9s, insurance cards, banking documents, or other sensitive records.

What documents might be requested later?

If selected, you may be asked to provide documents needed to verify your identity, driver's license, vehicle registration, insurance, TWIC status, work authorization, contractor tax information, or payment setup. Follow only the secure instructions provided by Speedpack Express.

What happens after I submit my application?

Your driver profile is sent to Speedpack Express for review. If selected to continue, the company will contact you using the phone number or email address you provided.

Does submitting an application mean I am approved?

No. Submission only places your information into the review process. Final approval may depend on document verification, TWIC requirements, vehicle information, availability, onboarding, and Speedpack Express's current operational needs.

How can I improve my application?

Provide accurate contact information, list every vehicle you can reliably use, describe your availability clearly, identify your normal starting area, and give honest details about your communication skills and prior courier experience.

Ready to continue?

Complete the short pre-qualification check first. Applicants who meet the basic requirements can continue directly into the full driver application.
